Boerse Stuttgart Digital Expands to Spain Amid Growing Crypto Demand
Boerse Stuttgart Digital, the cryptocurrency division of Germany's Stuttgart Stock Exchange Group, has established a new office in Madrid as part of its European expansion strategy. The move marks its eighth regional hub, joining existing locations in Frankfurt, Zurich, and Milan.
The firm, which secured Europe's first MiCAR license from German regulator BaFin earlier this year, specializes in institutional-grade crypto trading and custody solutions. Its modular platform enables traditional financial institutions to integrate digital asset services while maintaining compliance with the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets regulation.
Spain's accelerating crypto adoption presents a strategic opportunity, with market research indicating potential cryptocurrency usage by over 50% of the population by 2025. Boerse Stuttgart Digital confirms active negotiations with major Spanish banks to provide regulated access to digital assets.
